Offered for your consideration is a Colt Combat Commander in .38 Super. This appears to be a mid to late 70's production piece and it is in extremely excellent condition. Bluing is superb overall with no wear to the polished areas of the slide or frame. There is a slight mark where the hammer contacts the spur of the grip safety evidence that the gun saw some use. This is further supported by some bluing wear on the barrel in the region of the barrel bushing. A very faint spot exists on the top of the slide about an inch forward of the ejection port where the gun rubbed and the finish is thin. This spot is perhaps an eigth of an inch but no more. There is a tiny nick on the outer edge of the trigger guard on the left side just below the trigger. It is appropriately touched up or perhaps it was present prior to finishing as it is quite consistent in color to the surrounding area. There is a touch of what appears to be lacquer on the bottom left of the frontstrap. No effort has been made to attempt to remove it. The grips panels are excellent with no wear or obvious defects. The Colt factory marked magazine is present and a second magazine (Mecgar) is also included. No Box. An extremely collectable and beautiful example. Check out the pics.
